Bizarre, So its dead right now, i doubt system update would cause such a catastrophic failure
are you able to charge the device or is it showing no signs of life?
either way youll have to send it in for repairs or look for a local repair shop to look into it
to me it sounds like a hardware issue more than the system update, but if the system update did break it only nintendo will be able to repair it

it still charges but it gets interupted which doesn't allow it to boot up

yeah it will definitely need to be opened up to be checked it could be caused by a lot of things and we wont be able to narrow it down from looking from the outside
you should either send it to nintendo but if that’s not an option you’ll have to look for a reputable repair store in your area
