I’ve been looking for some help regarding the issue I’m having of leaving my own family group I never wanted to make. I recently purchased my switch and it came with a free membership, this membership apparently created a family group which I had no idea about until I tried joining my partners group. It won’t let me leave and I have no one else in it to swap over controls so I don’t know what to do.

If it's a month, rather wait

The memberships already ended a while ago

??? Then how are you still in the family. I'm so confused

#

Did you try contacting Nintendo support? In my opinion it should have kicked you from your NSO family as it ended

That’s what I thought, but it won’t let me join anything else

I have contacted them

Quick question, what does it mean if it says “you cannot join due to limits on family group changes” and what’s the cooling off period for that?

I'm not sure how much the cooling period takes as it doesn't have a set date, but give it min 2 months

It's to avoid selling NSO

#

Yk, cuz you can sell it on Ebay that if one person pays $20 they can stay in the NSO family for a full year

Yeah right okay that makes sense, we contacted the support so they could remove the limitation so I could be added so I’ll see how that goes
