Had my switch in my case for a day or two and I noticed this weird buffering on the screen here. Seems to appear while using the Switch and starts to fade when I stop playing/touching screen.
Hasn't caused any widespread issues so far and I think I can only see it with dark backgrounds. Is this a sign of a wider issue that could lead to a broken screen? Anything I could do to prevent this or should I just send it in for repair?

Your battery might be inflating but I don't want to come to conclusions immediately. Turn your Switch around and look at the back of it

My dad has inflated phone battery and the screen is the same

I don't see any bumps but it could be a battery issue. I did use some alternative charging methods for about a week or so when my original adapter broke.

It could either be the screen or battery getting bigger. I don't remember where battery is inside the Switch. Is it near your problem?
Or is this issue ALL over the screen?

Nope, it's just in that singular spot when I can see it on a dark background for now. I'm not sure where my battery is so I'll have to double check that

Near the battery is a heater and I'm not sure what the circular thing is

I would say it's close to the battery but it's probably directly on top of that circular part

Could it be a dead pixel? I'm not sure 🤔 I would recommend for other's opinion too

Maybe, I've never seen this problem before so that might be why. But I feel like if it were a dead pixel I'd constantly see it, right? But the buffering on my screen starts to fade when I stop playing it. So I think you're right about it maybe being a battery issue
Like maybe it's because of something heating up and it fades when my system starts to cool down again

Yeah, like right now I haven't touched my switch in a few minutes and I can't see it anymore. Hopefully this doesn't mean my switch will explode or something lol
