Pokémon shining pearl or super Mario bros u deluxe?

Hii, I’ve gotten a voucher for my switch to buy a game and I’m currently debating if I should get the Pokémon shining pearl (it would be my first Pokémon game on my switch) or the new super Mario bros u deluxe ( this would also be my first Mario game on my switch). I know both games are very different and can’t really be compared but just wondering what everyone recommends? What games did you have the most fun with and what game do you think I’d get more hours out of? Thank you

But nsmb has more content

Pokemon shining pearl is honestly the worst Pokémon game that I’ve ever played in my life. Don’t waste your money on it. Please get Mario Bros u deluxe.🙏🙏
