id try replacing the battery, if not id try to check if the connections are intact and in place of course, id like to ask has the joycon ever fell? it could break something inside or mess a connection, disconnect something as the joycons are frail

Its pretty close to a day 1 switch so I don't doubt its seen some falls in the first three years of use. I just recently got to playing with it again
