#Switch wont power on after software update

Hey yall, joined this looking for help. I bought some new joy-cons and switch sports to play after christmas. i go to turn on the console and it says software update needed. after doing the update the switch will not power on.

i have tried resetting it with all of the holding power button stuff but all i get is a nintendo logo then black again. i have also tried recovery settings but no luck.

i bought the console secondhand with a custom backplate so i dont have receipts and i dont think its eligible for warranty.

any ideas?

Although the newest version is indeed 1.7.11 but i suppose the same breaking stuff went along from the 1.7.10 version

We have no legit fix for this in all honesty

You may attempt sending that switch to repair to nintendo and pay a price for it

shoooot. surely nintendo will cover repairs considering their update bricked it. i have seen someone with a similar issue and they resolved it so ill give their fix a try and if not ill have to see what nintendo can do.
