if you have a Switch and a Nintendo pro controller, then you should have at least two USB cables somewhere
yes

where to plug in the usb
like
one end goes in controller
where the othe go
the other end goes into the Switch dock

there are USB ports on the back if you remove the cover
next to where the HDMI cable plugs in

on the back of the dock, there is a plastic cover that just pulls off. underneath that cover there is a USB port.

@dreamy elm When you said Nintendo brand, are you saying it's made by Nintendo or it's officially licensed by Nintndo and made by another brand like, for example, PowerA?
Then can you follow the steps below to remove the pairing and try to pair it back again?
HOW TO DELETE & RECONNECT CONTROLLER PAIRING
§ This is a method to reset controllers pairing information and can fix various controllers' connection issues. If you do not have a functional right Joy-con, you can use a different controller such as a Pro controller.
※ With the Switch console in handheld mode.
1. Detach/Disconnect all the Joy-Con and controllers from the Nintendo Switch console.
2. From the HOME Menu, select System Settings ⚙️ > Controllers and Sensors > Disconnect Controllers.
3. Hold down the “X” Button on the right Joy-Con until the blue circle is fully illuminated.
4. Attach or connect any Joy-con and controllers you want to pair to the console.
※ Update the controllers' firmware can fix several issues.
You know how to pair the Pro con wirelessly?
um
kinda?
i mean
you jsut click rt and lt right
but it doesnt work
on my pro contrler
like im spamming rt and lt
@brazen root
- Open the "joycon" menu from home screen.
- Go to "Change grip/order"
- While that menu is on the screen, press and hold the tiny pairing button on top your Pro con until the light at the bottom of the controller starts flashing.
- Now you can press L+R button (NOT ZL/ZR) several times till the controller appears on the Switch's menu.
i did
i just said i pressed rt and lt
it doesnt show up
thats the original problem
What i asked is did you do exactly like those steps? Since you simply said " i pressed rt and lt" without any other setup I mentioned.
Also they are literally called L/R button for Left/Right and the "trigger" buttons are called ZL/ZR.
Those letterings are marked on the controller.
yes
i did
i meant the
LB
and RB
like th ebuttons
like the buttons
on
the
top of it
not triga
Try the xpair tag again but after that, restart your Switch before pairing the controller back
But if that didn't work then you will need to try using the USB cable
...and your controller's wireless feature maybe malfunctioning
whats xpair
