Congrats on getting it! My brain is 100% alert whenever I'm carrying it in my hands it was the same with original Switch but it was easier to grip it in the hands, I never ever dropped it myself, it only once fell from the small height on a carpet from a coffee table and not by my fault, someone in the family pushed the table and it slipped

Alright, pro tip, aside from the right routes and enemy memorization, the game rewards you more aka gives you better combos when your just using the charge shot/bomb instead of manually shooting them for some reason, that was my main issue. Long story short charge shots as much as you can although a few spots I needed to quick bomb then charge shot something else since there wasn’t time to do 2 charge shots

The guides helped me, i think it’s a good vibe, but at times I wish the difficulty was just a tad toned down. The only gaurentee was the first level, everything else was a percentage to get the medal

Fire Emblem is mostly a game for those who are massively into tactical RPGs. There’s a satisfaction behind strategizing and doing the best you can to keep all of your units alive until the end of the game. The stories and support conversations draw me even more to the game as well.

I stayed up all night playing this game. Had to stop myself when I got super tired. 😅

Lol. Well with starters in Pokémon, you at least have a choice as to which Pokémon you want to start with. Fire emblem Radiant Dawn is the kind of game where you automatically gain allies as you progress through the game.

I’m on the 4th chapter with the pirates, it’s not bad so far. I really don’t mind it so far. Good they got a beginner side for me, using that boy Ike, intelligent systems not too bad here so far. The almost chibi models reminds me of the era when I was playing one piece grand adventure.

It’s just opinion man, I think I can see what I’m basically in for, Becky un called for, nothing wrong with loving a series no matter how good or bad it is, and going just solely by reviews without going in depths with the points they actually give about it in detail isn’t saying much of anything. There’s still can be good beneath the crust.

Starfox I would rewind often not a skill issue just hard but something satisfying with finger blasting the A button shooting enemies or charge shooting right in the middle of a school of enemies for combos and going for those medals and the corny but lovely voice acting. Or if your into space stuff. I used to think it was kinda bare bones like a b tier type game for me now I’d give it an A. Multiplayer I prefer time to go for score.

The game was overall praised. It was so praised, they did a sequel for that specific game: Radiant Dawn. And of course, Ike was included as a playable character in smash Bros as a result.

The unfortunate part was that the sequel to the game did not do so well in sales. The following game after that, Fire Emblem Awakening, was their one and only hope for the series to stay alive.

What levels were you on

There’s a cool down after using a charge shot to load it again so in the mean time you can shoot normal shots until the cool down is down or for less accurate but less of a cool down you hold z and r at the same time to do charge shots with less cool down. You can mash barrel rolls to reflect most shots. Vs star wolf I find it better to look at the map let them come to you and do a somersault which I believe is the fake out u turn thing

So you do a fakeout loop basically then your behind them and just mash the blast button they don’t have much health

Nova bomb a section with a ton of enemies don’t waste them on bosses unless you wanna do it for Star wold

#looking-for-group if I recall seemed like some uncalled for remarks as well which is what I’m referring to when I said every user, which isn’t to be taken literal just there was many users. Whatever community it is there’s no need to be mean. And the most popular smash games are 10x worse then whatever street fighter there’s no denying that. But at the same time, people really want other to play and that goes for tournament scenes when people are going out of there way to bring in computers, tvs, game setups, rent venues, advertise, just so a bunch of people can hang out for the day playing. Not too much different from people online or first trying to get into the game. Dude some levels are annoying with save states, I’d say once you are expert if you really want on foot in multiplayer you arnt missing out too much

But if you do the hard path on venom and just get I believe the medal on the final fight with star wolf then right to fighting Andross you should get it I don’t think you need any other medals to get it in expert

But venom 1 I believe is when your gonna need to use that r+z quicker charge shot technique

Been playing LoZ Oracle Of Seasons for the first time. Didn't put it down for hours

I'm really enjoying it a lot and the NPCs are so funny sometimes, from Dancing for a boomerang prize , to falling down a chimney , crashing a little girl's Christmas morning. It's so creative and fun.
These Oracle games should get similar remaster/remake treatment that Links Awakening got!

The big epic 3D Zeldas are excellent, love BOTW ( still playing it ) but I think Nintendo is doing what they've done with Mario , keeping the big all out 3D adventure , while continuing the classic style side scroll Mario .

So far, Zelda has Links Awakening remaster in that traditional OG style, along with Echoes Of Wisdom. So if that's any indicator, I think revisiting the Oracles games would be a perfect next step

I learned that Miyamoto gives these spin off Zelda games to newer devs to sharpen their skills with, and it's great Miyamoto and the other legendary devs of his era seem to mentor the new Gen of devs. Excellent way to instill the values and principles of what makes Nintendo games great

Miyamoto gave this Oracles series project to Hidemaro Fujibayashi, also did Four Swords.

Starfox 2 isn’t the most challenging nor the most aged, it had good ideas for its time that was used in Starfox 64.

Those 3 are all pretty challenging. You can go for a 100% score in snes, I just went for my best and to try to survive like when I first played Starfox 64 basically, snes 2 seemed crazy that I wasn’t close but whatever they grade you at the end as well. Starfox 64 you get on foot, cool glasses and expert mode, and if you really go above and beyond, you get a slightly different pov in the title screen to show you got 100%. 64 at least the paths you take mid level, quotes, and maybe decent bomb placements for hordes of enemies really make the game memorable.

Don’t be shy to rewind and or save state in these games, that’s how hard they are.

Starfox 2, the missile missions are easy and boring unless star wolf comes, which they have a decent team and cool to see them in snes form, but there’s a different strategy you must do against them that doesn’t feel as polished as the 64. You can still instantly somersault at will but even then, dog fights ✈️ were iffy to me but it was their first time.

The walking arwing sections were too easy and not much strategy required plus’s triggering stuff was just time consuming, but it was very cool concept to transform mid flight. I respect transformations especially because of majoras mask. Ik really I should think of Super Mario but still

Very cool, animations remind me of times playing pokemon, digimon, ff, etc. strategy in there and also thought of mystery dungeon in the very beginning with these tile boards. I like how the bait them to come to you and take cover in walls when a lot of units just like mystery dungeon monster houses. Dang sometimes the cpu could be cheap but I should’ve checked and click on the cpu so I could see their distance. The big boss could be underwhelming at times sometimes getting to them is the harder challenge. It was a fun game and I will continue with the gba ones 🫡 wow that story was something else 🥲 like I said Ike was cool but now I KNOW why he’s cool

I would suggest doing that to be honest. The old games were very much difficult to navigate. The button controls are pretty limited and it was hard to tell yourself apart from the enemy units.

They gave the retro line its own name unrelated to online play, Nintendo Classics, so it's clear that they see it as just the replacement for Virtual Console
