I think it was doable for n64 because when you rewind on nso you only choose slideshow pictures, it's not real time rewind

I know Switch 2 will be great in about a year already but right now there's really not much to it. I'm pretty much done with MKW in about a month and now I can only play online or buy Bananza. Fast Fusion is amazing but very hard, there's not much there for the average player. I even completed Fortnite Battle Pass because there's not much to play on Switch 2 right now 😂

Still, I'm glad I got it because like I said I know it will be amazing in just a year

you can "play" any classic game online with friends, but for single player games the friends just watch and can do things like point or you can swap the controller to them

Nintendo owns all rights to the entire DK franchise, even those developed by Rare. Diddy Kong Racing is the only exception, because it has characters like Conker and Banjo, which are owned by Microsoft.

DKC 1-3 were all released on Wii+Wii U. DK64 was released on Wii U, so it will definitely eventually be on the service. Nothing is stopping them.

N64 rewind barely works on PC in RetroArch, not every game is supported. Reason why it works on Switch 2 so easily is because you are choosing slideshow pictures not rewinding in motion real time

That’s an interesting one. 4 players will be fun and I wanna say multiplayer will be much smoother. The biggest anticipation is the lan feature, if it were to come before double dash and I doubt it but I’ll mention it Kirby’s air ride

1080 avalanche has some personality to it, arcade like making it a bit different. But the 64 multiplayer felt worse then single player, feel like the frame rate was worse making the game feel slower and not 100% if whoever was behind got rubber banded back up

I just hope these random indie bands or whatever genre arnt a hassle to get rights to the game, personally I don’t think so from these like nobody bands

So unless you don’t use the OG GameCube and you use a different controller that makes it easy to save state, the very hard missions for some seem like a giant waste of time. I made a ton of attempts on mission 4 very hard with a couple close attempts but no luck, some other missions I pulled off but so annoying just to try and unlock smaller stuff. The cups are worth learning. But I’d take the time to learn which vehicles are higher tiered, or at the very least stay away from the very mid ones, that way you just beat the cups on very hard easier. Madao Joestar has been doing that game on the daily since the jump, but his videos are nice to learn from because of the visual button inputs whenever you can’t figure out certain tracks, you can just observe his footage again. That being said unless you like a challenge I think I don’t recommend the game to be played too often.

Though I doubt we’ll be getting any of the dual screen handhelds on Nintendo Classic anytime soon. It took quite the work just porting Luigi’s Mansion 2 to the Switch. Though turning the console 90 degrees could work for handheld mode, tabletop mode and tv mode would need to be sorted out too.

Fair points, but I don’t believe we can’t get smash 64 back. We have many nso games that wernt on VC back then and like you sort of said, the karts are still on nso just not the GameCube one

So I don’t see why double dash would never come, just not first, Mario party wasn’t even shown but I don’t see why 4-7 wouldn’t make its way on there, that’s like saying Mario party 1-3 compete with switch mario parties to me

If you keep going down the franchise list you will find more examples, lots of Zelda on nso, a spin off with link on it on gamecube and wind waker, that’s like saying that’s competing with modern Zelda sales as well. I’ll give you that it’s 2025 and no smash 64. And I’m not saying smash Wii U and 3ds is around the corner, but the whole Nintendo self competition thing because of existing nso mostly doesn’t apply to me. Sure the likes of like Metroid remake, TTYD, super Mario rpg, etc remakes may not get the og, but the 3d all star trilogy are about to be ported or on nso. But we both know that I’m just choosing to still believe smash 64 nso will be a thing. There was that “leak” as well with the blurry images and so far so good

Expansion isn’t gonna go away just because a small percentage of games out of the rest have potential to be remade or the “compete” with sales, nor isn’t going to negatively effect Nintendo financially or change their plans. Luigi’s mansion already got a new version and the whole trilogy exists on the same console among other franchises one could mention that’s in the same or similar situation. You’re entitled to your OP but it proves nothing about Nintendo flat out denying smash 64 or melee. The only way it will confirm or deny anything is when it drops or interviews in the future. I’ll say it again the n64 blur leak exists and smash 64 was on there.

They are still going to appeal to the expansion audience with some of the ways being the OG versions of a remade game on there and or games that came out before the modern one of the same franchise on the same console to sell more subscriptions.

This is the shining fighter model, 2 air dashes as that model has, jack of all trades master of none. This one is equipped with the sniper gun, by far one of the best in the game legally, formula legs which I personally don’t see much use in V2 for any build, reflection pod which deploys 3 at a time, seems a bit too gimicky but not a bad part. And could definitely be wrong on this but I wanna say that’s the standard bomb, if it is, it’s a solid one but there are many different combinations that are viable. In v2 ik some Japan tournaments like banning the sniper and I don’t mind it just to see more variety

I havnt been on ultimate but I been on a heck lot of smash 64, ness mostly

I ate dust vs mightyowl in that stunt racer game on snes. Didn’t know you wanna press a boost button. Even then though idk if there was drift button I was missing I just used brakes, I stuck with a medium car cause I’m not familiar with the game but that’s a good snes multiplayer racing game to go to
