Oh jeez, rental randomizer Pokémon stadium 2 sure is time consuming, I thought master ball poke cup was impossible was really getting to me, I don’t recommend that one without either re rolling to a better team or save stating, not that I resorted to any of those.
All I have left is elite four.
Prime cup in this run I only used misdreveous, Golduck, and weezing. A crit shadow ball, and pain split really did work. They finished with ursarang who could only fire punch misdrivious which did lil damage, then got a pain split on muk, hydro pump with Golduck then finished it off with confusion. Had to burn through 4 of my continues for the last guy

Just beat all cups on master with JB Crystal and all except queen with silver thunder. Probably do that one tomorrow. All though maximum velocity doesn’t have the most going for it in terms of content like gp legend and climax, it might be my favorite still just cause of the AI, one boost per lap which sometimes you may have to use differently depending if AI bumps you or too much in the way, and 5 laps having a challenge. And you don’t have to worry about placing as much since there isn’t really points, you just need 3rd or better to pass. Master still gives a lot of lives cause AI can be un predictable, the racers and yellow and green drones I’ll call them.
I feel like I could do it with all the vehicles because I think JB Crystal is the worst one, silver thunder isn’t even that bad
Only thing multiplayer takes away the drones, and I think even the bombs 💣, so really takes away the gameplay for me, but people with a similar level makes it enjoyable

I’m kinda amazed how he not only holds L and R in certain turns to instantly shift the vehicle sideways but letting go of the accelerator at the same time to make turns perfectly. I’m also paying attention to when he lets go of the accelerator because if you keep holding A aka the accelerator then you will not get as high of a speed and if your boosting with out letting go at a certain high speed your just boosting for nothing
He made a slick kill at the end of the sand track as well in the first cup I believe

It was a bit too smooth, which seems like an odd downside to have. The increased FPS caused the intro+demo crawl to play out of sync and made some minigames even more difficult. I feel like if they were to drop the game on NSO now, they'd leave it unchanged.

F zero gx multiplayer is weird, camera is bad, restart is interesting, turn it off and you might have players recklesssly end them selves quick but it does make the matches longer plus really it shouldn’t matter since technically it’s a big speed loss

I guess it doesn’t help that my opponent played a lot of gx recently while I hadn’t played since last fall or so. I didn’t unlock much but he just ran dr Stewart. Funny how first track I beat him by milliseconds because I did blast turns or let go of the accelerator at certain high speeds to get even faster and that saved me. But pico and goroh were too bad to compete lmfao. Blue Falcon was ok
Then he dominated the next cups pretty much but kept killing himself often and first. I died much less but had the restart on. I came back in emerald cup. Got like 3 in 1st and he got last in 3, well he got last in everything that cup but the last 2 I got 3rd and they were close
On the final track, on the 2nd lap we were both low but I pulled a spin attack but had to blast turn just to not touch the wall. It ended up tripping him up to die but I died eventually too but it didn’t matter and won overall in points

Ya , there's a strong case for that , totally. If you were all in with Nintendo back then, wow , u had Nintendo Power magazine, u had the games, etc. It was a complete vibe. Nintendo players got fed plenty and were eating well then. The quality and experience was just in a league of its own.
Not throwing shade on Sega , they had some wonderful games but they didn't offer that entire full experience. Like most Sega players never knew Sega Visions magazines was a thing. Cuz it basically didn't exist for most Sega players. Who the F carried Sega Visions at the store? I never saw it.

I have only NSO Expansion Pack, not Mario Tennis Aces. We can try but I probably suck at it because I've beaten the whole game with every character in both exhibition and tournaments, both singles and doubles using save states lol. But at least I got all the Gold trophies

Wow , playing the least or near last level of Donkey Kong Country 2 , and Its shocking how complete broken trash this game becomes
I like some challenge ,cuz it's rewarding experience and DKC have that challenge but with work it's possible , where margin of error can be %5 percent ( which is very very very difficult) but can be still done.
Lowering that margin of error to like 1% , or none , like needing exact pixel positioning in speed run type scenario? ( For a game that isn't that , ur goal is to get past the level at some point, not break some record )
But ya it has become so unenjoyable. It's not even a fair type of challenge. And there's tons of very very tricky , timing based challenges through out this game , some would find them extremely challenging. But this part , where u have to become a snake to hope upward through a rock tunnel with acid quickly rising. Then enemies to boot. It's really toxic gameplay loop , and should of never been put in this game 😆

Ok I finally beat "Toxic Tower" 😅 , that was rediculously tough. But I took a break, forgot about it for a while , came back after a few hours and just really focused. Just takes A LOT of practice if your not super experienced with these classic kinds of platformers. Just insane 😆

Now that's I've beat both games, id say DKC1 seems a bit more ' Consistent ' as a game? Where as DKC2 , though the controls are tighter and u can tell they polished the level design overall, DKC2 just hits you with this ridiculous difficulty spike with Toxic Tower ( prolly the worst ) and it just really soured the experience. Like I was not happy even after beating it, I was like DONE with that game. I think for casual players , it really puts a bad taste about this era of Nintendo games. Like , super hard but seems unfair though.

Ya, overall DKC2 seemed to be , technically, better programmed. From a technical side of things. And I loved the characters. But it's like a fun great movie thats ending really soured the whole experience.
It's like Toxic Tower felt like a middle finger to the player , after all the challenges u go through in that game, it just trys to infuriate u beyond anything. I just think that was a bad choice of a level. For that super late in the game ..idk , Again, I'm not a pro player , and I'm still processing it all.
But that's how I felt , I came away feeling better about DKC 1

God, I hate Fortnite. Game was charming in the beginning but it turned to be a festival of stupid characters and FOMO trash. I still play it sometimes but only for the graphical appeal because I like colorful graphics and hope that game will get better with every new update but no 💀 someone online said it gives you maybe few hours of fun but makes you depressed for weeks
Minecraft is ok though. I couldn't get into it at first when it released but after it received a lot of quality updates that made the game better I started to see why kids and people in general find that game fun. It wad weird in the beginning but it's not a bad game at all. I have it for the Switch physically, didn't play too much though because I have a lot of games

On the contrary, a lot of games back then got kinda stale, but the glitchy ness and or tech that evolved over time thanks to dedicated speed runners and competitors alike, evolved the game and allowed people like me and some friends to learn them ourselves to further expand the retro games. Mario 35 for example made me learn the first Mario bros game some more to better myself for victory

I used to play soccer, it’s how you bring a bunch of balls at once to practice. I believe in the era of smash rated T and more T games in GameCube along with waluigis showbouting, it’s not farfetchd that was in here. Would’ve added alot more appeal. Originally the game was pitched as a wrestling game. I wouldn’t mind some of that in the future

no. four players play pac-man. one is pac-man, the others are ghosts. the pac-man player would use a GBA hooked up to the GC with a link cable, while the ghost players used regular GC controllers. to become pac-man, the ghost players had to catch him. the first ghost to catch pac-man became pac-man in the next round. play continued until a set score limit was reached.

51 clubhouse games had a gyro target 🎯 shooting game which worked pretty well on the switch 1. The Wii games id care about the most being smash and kart, already had plethora of options for other remotes. That being said I think Wii sports and Wii play will be just fine, and if they wanna make extra cash, they simply resell the Wii remotes, NSO style for NSO members
So far every home console has a NSO controller variant from the service
Famicom, nes, snes, Super Nintendo, n64, sega genesis, sega mega drive, and now GameCube. I think it’s a no brainer they would resell the Wii remotes
