F zero climax has a standard, expert, and master versions for the tracks of bronze, silver, and gold cups. Platinum stays to the same snes tracks but still a bit remixed compared to gp legend. And Zero test is still there but in time attack mode. AI is so annoying. I stick to golden fox but I think side attacking is better since spinning won’t finish the job of killing them and burn a lot of boost

Not every Japan 64 game in that list, but a lot of those I could see Japan having, exclusive bomberman, puyo puyo, pocket monsters stadium, animal Forrest, maybe a game show game, maybe soccer, and some narrative game.

Since no transfer pack compatibility they still might skip first pocket monster stadium, also sucks I don’t think you would see the bizzare Pokédex and the beta versions of a lot of 3D models that wernt aloud to fight yet at the time

I thought if mashed Z and buffer the cancel I guess you would say it would finally be successful, it kinda worked except it’s still too slow to combo. I checked back the footage and thought I had some kind of combo going, but in training mode it detects combos and the count was still 1. Might have to give up on a lot of the stuff unfortunately

Unfortunately no but it’s very easy to “mod”. If you open the doors 🚪 to the slot, you will see a couple squares that prevent the tiny Japan cartridges to fully sink in. Just rip them shits off. However you can. I remember on another 64, or maybe this one still I forget, I used a freaking hair straightener to melt it, and use pliers. Don’t do that, but just find a way to take them out and then you can get them to sink in there. First game I did that with was custom robo… good times

Played docked, the joycons and pro controller have a pointer. Matter of fact that same point can be used with the right stick on NSO already when playing with other people.

It's not great but it's serviceable.

Gyro pointer, or right stick pointer. Imo the gyro is the better option.

DS only has 2 shoulder buttons. The ZL and ZR can select which screen to make the main screen. As in you have multiple layouts to choose from. The classic top and bottom. Or the top screen being bigger and the bottom screen is smaller on the bottom right. And then ZL can rotate the 2 screens if you needed it. Oh and of course side by side screen.

I'm surprised the switch doesn't have an option to LINK another switch to use as a Wii U gamepad. So you have 2 screens. The docked switch and the linked switch. Kinda crazy how Nintendo didn't make that a feature, they'd sell EVEN MORE switches. At least just the screen, like that's at least more than half the price right there.

The Wii U allowed for 3DS linkage, you could use the 3DS as a controller on a few games.

You'd think they'd advertise the switch lite to be able to do this feature. Redeeming the Wii U. I mean, it already has gyro, amiibo support, literally everything the wii u had minus a camera.

Honestly I find the drip feeding part fun actually. It seems like a bad concept when we are impatient but what fun would it be we got all games at once. I like when the hype builds up with announcements and makes you look forward to future rereleases in general. Also it's a way to incentivize people to subscribe, they have to do it that way

I also hate the argument when people say that expansion pack is too expensive, I also thought that at first but when you think through it and realise it's only few euros/bucks a month it doesn't sound that bad at all. That's like a price of one coffee. Game pass is 18 euros right now, games are with bigger budget of course but nintendo never removes games and some of them can be fun just as newer ones if you give them some time and effort

I don't know at what price they want a service to make it profitable for the developer

I wouldn't be surprised if GameCube being added on NSO would be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 Console. If y'all think about, when it comes to emulating GameCube games, they take like 1.5 GB or more, and considering both OG Switch & Switch Lite have 32 GB Storage, and Switch OLED having 64 GB Storage, I personally just don't think GameCube games would also be on Original Switch Consoles with those limited Storage Spaces. So GameCube being exclusive on Switch 2 via NSO (Which is rumoured that Switch 2 will probably have 256 GB Storage) would pretty much be the best way imo

I think gamecube, wii and ds is still coming to og switch but 3ds and wii u to switch 2. Maybe even og wii would be exclusive to switch 2 because it has optical sensor which is much better suited for easier emulation

I really feel like playing that ridge racer but my backlog is huge, im restraining myself from starting new games

Also all the lost wiiware and dsiware has potential to reappear on nso wii and ds

Just play multiplayer for a quick 15 min then with others. It’ll just the 3 races. The main game gets to be a pain anyways

I like how even in 4 players you still pick and choose whatever music gets to be played

I havnt had much time to play besides online. Before I don’t remember too well but I never like beat it, I made some decent progress

I've beaten the last two races using suspend points and even like that it's not easy because you have to perform perfect segments. I probably played n64 version before and mistaken it as beaten it because I've beaten DS version. That game was definitely easier so it's not 1:1 port, but based on it

That would also be nice to come to nso, but with the drip feed, for niesh games, I’ll settle with, “at least it’s on one of the systems” which is kinda good and bad

Good for other niesh games to come through, bad cause it might be an upgrade or slightly different experience that people just won’t have

At least nso should continue through switch 2, idk if it will cross play with switch or not or something, but when the new systems come out, the older games might feel a bit overshadowed unfortunately

Not that a lot arnt are right now, but maybe like for the n64 in my opinion if let’s say GameCube is around

Then again whatever new systems are there it will take awhile to build up its library anyways

N64 really is the party system so far, most 4 player games on the nso systems, which is not saying much since the only other system to do it later is gba, and honestly, and underrated reason why I feel Genesis was kinda over shadowed was because it’s an expansion system that doesn’t support 4 player

Me too but it gets significantly harder on 2nd and 3rd race. After 3rd race on stage 3 the main game is beaten

This game is great, I'm really enjoying it

I've reached expert extra, now I'm stuck. Can't beat it even with suspend points

I did 99 laps in time trial to unlock blinky but it's not very useful

I also unlocked all car attack cars so far but they are too fast to handle curves well

Very interesting video about the rare “bonus Pokemon” you could get that the internet was unsure of until a pioneer took it upon himself to prove sites like seribii wrong. Not to diss the website but for the smaller things, either the info is not there are at least partially incorrect. I can relate for games like pocket monsters and pocket monsters stadium 2, there was very lil info on the internet at the time at least.
