Yeah. The modern games Nintendo has made do have the option for matchmaking so people tend to gravitate towards those. But also besides matchmaking being offered, content updates and tweaks and adjustments to “balance” games do drive people to stick with the Switch generation releases as well

I think I figured it out. Nintendo feels bad for not releasing mother 3 to English nso, but they know they have an English rom somewhere, but they will need time to dig it up and make sure it’s ready to go. But until then, all the other games we just got won’t go to Japan just to try to balance the nso drops and not upset the non Japan nso players as much.
A while from now once we finally get mother 3 translated then Japan will get blast corps and stuff

I said other then rare ware there probably isn’t much they could add besides bomberman and smash 64, which seems like a late entry, or rather I think they would add, as much as I want the snowboard kids series and chameleon twist series, and some might even want that one girl 👧 that grapples everything in her game forget the name, guess I should throw rayman 2 in there, but finally, Goemon series. Aside from bomberman I just get the feeling it will make it; the rest I mentioned that arnt rareware is just too shaky to me. Even glover I heard getting a remake so I wouldn’t think they would add it to nso
On the plus side, what they have left in the rareware library is multiplayer, but I hope I enjoy the gameplay decent enough. DKR if you don’t know how to race I will just double lap you and that’s with out TT. I think I should have a save state that doesn’t unlock him just to avoid use of the character.

MLB Power Pros series. I played both of them on Wii (and own the first one) and I have the dollar one on Switch. The 2 games on Wii are some of the best baseball games I’ve ever played and the one on Switch is p much the same game but an extremely barebones version with online play (still can be fun if you’re familiar with the series already).

Synaptic Drive is decent, but the controls are freaking werid. Sfx and ost is cool, but lacking story doesn’t help oddly enough, nor does the lack of parts you start with, or online I guess just stripped away. It’s custom robo like but I feel like it takes forever to knock them down and when you do it harder to even put some combos on them which unfortunately drags the game longer. They do have tag and or 4 player though idk
A lot of the characters seem inspired by previous robos, cool to look at and look back on each custom robo generation’s set of robos and look alikes I guess

Haha, for 64, idk if some of the games are fan made, beta like dinosaur planet turning into starfox adventures, the men in suit looks like the men from mother like in the melee opening, hey you pickachu I kinda wouldn’t mind honestly just for nostalgia and get the new gen to try it. On switch? Idk, street fighter collections? Since there’s only a sega genesis version on nso that doesn’t even have the later characters for better or worse.
NSO is convenient because as long as the user adds only people with NSO, you can setup online lobbies and send invites to anybody online which should make getting heads easier. Same goes for finding an open lobby. You can even switch the player order around in the suspend menu and take turns, even in one player only games. So for collections that have pvp or co op that are also on nso at least somewhat of it, can’t think of too many with online. What usually happens is if it’s not on nso, Nintendo striked a deal to get a remake going or something like megaman battle network collection for example, which was data mined as a tested game so at the very least if we were to get one game it would be much later down the line and that’s if that. Nobody really wants to self sabotage themself competing with nso if they have a collection or remake already. Super Mario rpg, Mario Vs donkey Kong, advanced wars 1+2, already mentioned battle network, this is another solo game ever megaman X, etc. Nes, snes, 64, genesis you can still play solo games I guess co op if you take turns since you can swap the player order at anytime.
Even with emulators, it’s not as convenient since you really have to know somebody and their schedule, vs just adding people on switch and once you add them you don’t really need communication, just see them online, send invites, first come first serve, and then easy. Signals arnt always the best but I’m used to it and it’s not bad

Pretty cool, I’m not really too picky with nso, I really enjoy playing online multiplayer, and technically it’s racing even though it’s also a platformer but that’s exactly what I like about it it separates itself a bit. I like most nso racing games, although Mario kart 64 not a huge fan although I’ll play it, I like battle modes more for most of them I think. Super circuit is fun. But anyways the more multiplayer Nintendo drops the better, doesn’t have to be perfect

Maybe I’m not drifting right or making the precise movements but it’s so hard to catch up to the AI. Still, it has its ups and downs, almost like a wipeout but way more distance in Height so I would compare it to if starfox was a racing game but with out weapons.
It would be cool on nso, maybe I gotta try it more, but idk, it’s only 2 players anyways, I’m mixed about it tbh it’s a bit hard

I’m more used to playing wit joy cons/pro controller and custom mapping my buttons cuz it feels like an actual FPS like Call Of Duty and aiming your gun doesn’t feel awkward
But yea you need that controller if you’re tryna play Mario Party, Pilotwings 64, Pokémon Snap & Winback.
Most games play fine with Joy Con but it’s ideal to use the actual controller

It really doesn’t matter how many of those they make, for one, they are not going to do it for every single game in the library, not to mention Japan exclusives that don’t see the light of day for most not in Japan.
- Majoras mask, Oot, and starfox 3D (3ds) exist, Mario 3D all stars, and yet there is still Nintendo 64 online.

And just to be clear, I’m not talking about switch or this system specifically, but for the future in the next system
Nintendo specifically will still throw their tripple A’s around regardless of port or whatever, for the most part, are they gonna give out every single one on the service? No, nobody said that, and the way they drip feed it takes forever. But that’s probably why they don’t mind to have online services like that, because of drip feed and continuing more subscriptions.
If you take it even further though, it seems like square and game freak arnt paid enough to throw too much into the services
But on the plus side Microsoft gave us hella rareware
Despite other companies having their own agenda and giving limited games to the online services, Nintendo is the least concerned out of all of them in terms of having their online service games compete with said related games you could name. They have the most on there out of everybody. Again some games are gonna miss out, but there still gonna be online services. And they always launch with the mainline Zelda, mainline Mario, and Mario kart of said system. Look at all the nso systems for Nintendos side and it’s there.
