This morning I went on my switch, wich I charged overnight. I unplugged the charger and left it on the table for like 30 minutes.
I picked it up to play on and saw it needed to charge and after 15 minutes it was 100%
I was sure this isn't normal so I restarted it but that didn't help, updated it but that also was no help.
For now I'm going to let it drain entirely and then charge it again.

Good idea, what you was trying to do is recalibrate the battery. Although you should be careful, there's no need to do too deep discharge, since it can lessen the life of the battery.
Another thing I'd like to suggest is to do this below.
ac
HOW TO RESET AC ADAPTER
If your console has issue with charging, no power or other power issue:
1. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall sockets and other devices.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug the AC adapter back into the wall socket then back to the device you want to charge.

And then plug it into your Switch to charge it back up (after draining).
