Was looking at super Mario maker 2 and it looks like a fun game, but I wasn’t sure if it’s worth it considering it has been a few years since release. Is the game still active? Is it worth it?

Yeah the second half of that message, It could potentially release alongside wonders as well depending on how they want to go about advertising games and which direction would be better for sales.

New levels can still be uploaded so the game is still active in that sense. But even then, there’s plenty of levels already uploaded to make it more than worth it right now

Wonder will have not have user made levels like Mario Maker
It makes more sense to keep all the user made levels put onto a single game on each Nintendo console. So I think if we do get Mario Maker 3 it’ll be on a completely different new Nintendo device

Id say better safe than Sorry, if Wonders doesn't have a maker then you'd know to get Smm2, and plus it's so much easier to purchase Smm2 digitally after you found out Wonder didn't have a maker
