Howdy y'all! l'm looking for some good rpg games (not pokémon) that I can play. I have a Switch, DS, 3DS, Wii, and a Wii U.

Persona 5 Royal and Final Fantasy

Xenoblade and Fire Emblem too

My personal favourite is Final Fantasy 7 but it's the most outdated franchise graphically amongst the games I mentioned

Switch only have the old ones since it can't run new ones

@velvet crescent as for rpg suggestions. Dark souls port is great. Divinity original sin 2 is also if you like a tactical rpg. Witcher 3 is also a great port

Yeah i love elden ring. I think the open world made it more accessible since you can go somewhere else when you hit a wall

And some of the dungeons still have the awesome old school dark souls design

going to a high level area/enemy underleveled just to get one shotted is part of a JRPG experience

Etrian odyssey origins hd collection is good if you like dungeon crawlers with like no story just gameplay

I need a story and some linearness to function tbh. I couldn't finish Hollow Knight

I'm more about that than graphics. I'm fine with games from past generations, in fact I prefer it over modern games

Xcom 2 on switch is good and goes on sale a lot too but i think divinity original sin 2 is the better turn based rpg

I mean that's fair. They have a 3DS remaster too

the game design is a little rough on newer gen gamers too. Still, one of the most fun games ever aslongside one of the best stories told
