When my Nintendo account was first created it was set up as a kids account, and now when I was trying to link my account to Pikmin bloom it said kids accounts can’t be linked. How do you make the account into a normal account? I looked it up but I couldn’t find the option to un supervise on the account website from my parents account

If you're 13+ or 18+, not sure about the age, ask the Family Group Head to modify your Account through their settings

yeah Im older than 13 but when I went on the account settings through their account the option didn’t come up

@vale bronze The Family Head has to do it from their account to lift the supervision setting from their Family Group Management/Child Account Management Settings, not from your account

You should find the Setting in the Family Group Area @vale bronze
Select Family Group. Select the Nintendo Account that you want to stop supervising. Select Lift parental controls restrictions. This restriction can only be lifted for users (age 13 or over) who have registered an email address to their Nintendo Account.

Select your name in that list and remove Supervision
The Account has to be 13+, only then it works
If you just recently turned 13, I'd suggest waiting for a few days
