How can I stop Japanese news from appearing?

I already deleted the Japanese profile and it didn't work btw

Unfollow and refollow it maybe? It doesn't delete news you've already recieved, but theoretically you shouldn't be getting japanese news anymore if your region isn't set to japan & you've unfollowed all the japanese channels
