my controller ( that i bought for £50 started calibrating about a week or two after i bought it . i believe its from the original nintendo website ( its a transperent one that you can change the colour of . ) when i try calibrate it , it says i am unable to calibrate my controller and its really annoying when i try play anything at all because i cant play with my red joycon when its not connected to the switch due to the blutooth chip being broken ( stupid dogs :,( )

It's an officially licensed controller, but it's a 3rd party product, not made by Nintendo.
Some 3rd party controller cannot be calibrated at all.
