A friend of mine is letting me play Tears of the kingdom through game and share. But in order for me to play I have to start the game on his account and to be connected to internet
I want to know if I can store my game save data to my own profile? Due to I’m buying the game this week and delete his profile

GAMESHARING INFORMATION

• Game-sharing is an official feature for the Switch. Its original purpose is to let you play your digital games across multiple Switch consoles. But you are also allowed to use this feature to share games with family and friends, although the process is quite complicated.

• Game-sharing works in a Primary console and Secondary console basis. Your Primary will have no limit, while your Secondary will have several limitations.

But this feature is overly-complicated. In your case, maybe it's better just to wait till you can buy the game and play on your account.

They are buying the game next week... But their save is on their friends...

#

What they are asking, is if that save they have, that's under their freinds profile... Can be transferred over to their profile after they buy the game

#

No. You can't move the save you created on his profile to yours. If you buy the game on your account... And your switch is set to your primary console for your account... You could play it with his account. Even offline.

It's either that, or start over I'm afraid

Hmm I'm not entirely sure if that was the question. They did ask:

I want to know if I can store my game save data to my own profile?

#

But sure, I guess for both situation they have the answer.

I mean... They were playing the game on their friends account... And then plan to buy it on their account. That was entirely what the question was.

could be, but like I said they have both the answer now
