Title says it all. I've played both of the FE games on the Switch, DQ XI, and FF7, and I thoroughly enjoyed all of them, so now I'm looking for more.

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy 9

#

Persona 5 and Zelda Ocarina of Time are my favourites ever

#

what a status and profile theme you have

#

is that how you played FF7 or did you just emulate

P5R is super worth its price tag, it even goes on sale from time to time.

#

130+hrs per playthrough and there's just a lot to do. So much that you would wish the game were longer although I gotta say, there were 2 mediocre arcs but I never felt scammed of my time.

The OST is probably my favourite ever

#

I personally played it on PC

Definitely check out Persona 4 and 3 OSTs too!

#

Each persona game has its own vocalist(s) and its own style

The only thing about the game that’s kinda turned me off is that all the gameplay I’ve seen makes the fighting and combat seem extremely complicated

chrome meadow
#

Persona 5 combat is actually really simple, more so than Pokemon

fluid crescent
#

Oh shit

chrome meadow
#

it gets really cheesable towards the end of the game too; idk if that's good for you or not

fluid crescent
#

Well I’ve played literally every single Pokemon game

#

No it’s fine with me to cheese shit

#

As long as I’m having fun doing it I actually don’t care

there is easy mode, normal mode, hard, and merciless. You choose the difficulty and they can be scaled whenever, not like fire emblem that only scales down

#

The combat is very visually pleasing. I won't send gifs but yeah

Well for FE I just play casual, I feel like classic is too stressful and I play RPGs to just mindlessly grind or burn a few hours

I waited like a year for the port, I bought it day 1 for full. No regrets even if I could've saved a lot of money after a month or 2

fluid crescent
#

It’s whatever honestly I’ve never played the game so paying full is not like some of the other ports I payed full price for no reason since I already had the game

chrome meadow
#

oh lol

fluid crescent
#

I like the easy RPGs where it’s more focused on gameplay and I don’t need to grind an aggressive amount, but it’s an RPG so obviously some grinding is fine

PC port has more frames and slightly better graphics because yeah PC. P5R does have physical copies so that's nice. I love my games physical

Is there a difference between P5 Royal and regular P5

chrome meadow

Thing is if you play that game mindlessly, you might quite a number of things. The game is built to be worth playing twice. I will replay the game this summer probably

Got it

Just uh be careful because you might get super hooked. A lot of the game is just spending time with cool NPC friends and exploring the little open world Tokyo and you can save the game anywhere unless you're in a dungeon. Insane amounts of QoL has been put into the design of this game.

#

it's not like Final Fantasy 7 with some terrible save point locations. Love that game tho, it's super special to me.

# fluid crescent I’ve heard about Xenoblade and I have two questions. How do most people rank the...

I think most ppl agree that Xeno 3 is the most enjoyable of the series so far but they are all good and people go back and forth. You don’t have to play them in order but I know xeno3 dlc doesn’t make a lot of sense without playing the other games. Just depends I guess, if you want to spend over 200 hours playing the same type of rpg then start with the first one. Otherwise I would play 3.

but XC1 gameplay is not that good for me
