self explanatory title, joycons would appear as connected on windows but it would still be blinking. my bluetooth version is 4.2.
cons connect flawlessly on iphone 11, so its not a controller problem.

Did you use any of these wrapper software?

EXTRA SOFTWARE

• Pro controller and joy-con wrapper software (PC)
※ Windows does not have native support for Nintendo's controller (Pro Con and Joy-con). You will need one of the software below to make them work on PC.
Steam Input - Support Pro con, dual Joy-con, detailed configs for each game.
BetterJoy - Support Pro con, dual Joy-con, simple to use, good for emulators.
ProconXInput - Drivers to convert Pro-con/Joy-con to XInput.
DS4Windows - Support Pro con/Joy-con, very versatile.
x360ce - Universal XInput wrapper.

• How to use Pro-con and joy-con on [Linux]
Instructions to install support software and drivers

• [Android] has native support for Pro controller and joy-con. [iOS], [macOS] doesn't support them.

Joycon Toolkit - Useful software to test joy-con, change colors, etc...
Joycon Droid - Android joycon emulator.

@atomic robin Don't use vjoy. We need to reset everything and reinstall the drivers anew.

#

Go uninstall vJoy, BetterJoy altogether

#

And then go into Device manager, remove the controller entirely so it deletes the drivers in there as well.

#

After that, reinstall BetterJoy by itself, it would install the driver of Betterjoy

#

And then pair the controller back again.

candid arrow
#

yes, do that

atomic robin
#

and then after a few the connected status turns into paired

candid arrow
#

btw did you remove the joycon from your Switch before this?

#

The status of bluetooth device is one thing, but what about Betterjoy's recognition? Does it detect the controller?

Can you tell me the steps you did initially? When you started connecting the controller to your PC.

#

I need to know what has been done

atomic robin
candid arrow
#

No, you need to list out the software and driver you have installed as well

atomic robin
#

oh the entire reinstall process

candid arrow
#

Since it sounds like something is interfering with the right to control the device

#

I meant, before you came to this server and ask about it

#

what kind of software did you install?

#

also do you have Steam open?

atomic robin
#

yes i do have steam open

candid arrow
#

I see, try closing it and use only BetterJoy

#

Either something is wrestling to take control of the controller on the software side or from the hardware side

#

hence the constant changing status

atomic robin
#

betterjoy isnt detecting it still

atomic robin
#

the constantly changing status isnt happening anymore though, its really just not being detected by betterjoy and after the pairing period is over for the con it just goes back into paired

candid arrow
#

Remove the controller in bluetooth device list and re-pair it, this time only with Betterjoy open

candid arrow
atomic robin
#

still nothing

candid arrow
#

Sigh, this thing is always a mess

#

can you open browser and type this in?

#

This is a control panel of a software that was installed along with Betterjoy

#

it's to block a controller from Windows, so Betterjoy can control it

#

Find the joycon, hide/unhide it, test back with Betterjoy everytime

#

if that didn't work, unhide the controller in there

#

and then close Betterjoy, open Steam, go to Steam menu > Controllers > General controllers settings

#

see if Steam can recognize the joycon

atomic robin
#

so the website isnt working,

#

let me try steam
