So today I bought a Nintendo Switch Online family plain because the previous one I was on had expired. when I did everything I turned out that the previous group I was in was renewed. What I wanted to know was is this. if I left that group will I still be covered since im the one that bought the plan or no? and if not what are my options?

So to clarify, you were in a family group to use a different person's Family plan.
Now that group's subscription expired so you went out and bought your own Family plan. But that group's admin also renew their subscription. Is that correct?
the plan i bought renewed the group's admins plan. and from what i saw in Nintendo FAQ was that whoever bought the membership if they leave the account that bought it (in this case me) will still be covered)
Hmm something is confused here.
- Only the group's admin can renew the family plan.
- What do you mean "leave" the account?
Exactly why I’m confused. It shows up as if the family plan I was previously (and apparently still apart of) was renewed.
This is the pic of the FAQ
No, eh, what you should have said is "leave the family group" not "leave the account"
Let me check on something
oh my bad i didnt notice that
You know you can always send that FAQ link here and save me sometime?
Sometime I wish to spend less time decoding what people said
I see, interesting
then what happened is correct
So the admin doesn't need to be the one who buy the family plan, it can be anyone
That's one misconception from me
Whatever said in there in that FAQ is what you need to know anyway.
This is exactly the bit that answered your question:
If the purchaser leaves or is moved from the family group, the other members of that original group will not have access to the service until they join a purchaser’s group.
So now it's up to you on what to do
