My 4 years of switch online membership gone?

I had 4 years of switch online membership (the normal one) and now it's just gone I use 2 switch's swapping between them for the one account is there a way to get it back

could it be that i dont hand enought funds on my switch i normally have enough and now i dont so they cant renew it?

yeah over the years ive gotten the member ship cards and just added them on

this a email i didnt see from a few days ago"renewal for your Nintendo Switch Online membership could not be completed successfully. Your payment for the period starting on 11/02/2023 19:41 (GMT) could not be completed"

and gives a few reasonsl like this "If a payment method for automatic renewal has not been set:
・ You do not have sufficient Nintendo eShop funds."

Maybe it wasn't 4 years

I wonder if adding the sub time has a receipt somewhere for you to check

I just bought one month and it says I got 4 years again

But the expiry date is next month

Hmm I think you found a glitch in this thing

basically it still has automatic renewal

but it activated too early, instead of accounting for the remaining sub

Regardless, this is something Nintendo customer support should deal with, you can ask them to refund you that extra 1 month

@tiny plaza they said the problem was the timer didnt go down and then they told me how much i got left of online but didnt fix the 4 year timer

they said to update the switch if still happening but my switch wont update

Ok go to System Settings ⚙️ > System > Formatting options > Choose Clear Cache

the years on the top left arent how long you have left on your membership, its the total amount of time your membership has been active, for instance i got my switch a year and a half ago and have had it on automatic renewal and mine says 1 year 7 months there, it seems like your membership probably just expired

yes, its just the total amount of time youve had the membership for, so it would only be a problematic if it wasnt going up
