Hi! So I'm on a big budget, and I'm deciding to buy the tablet part of the Switch and buying some cheaper third party or official nintendo licensed joy cons / joy con replacements (like the hori) to attach to the sides.

Then about this, I advice against it.

You can reduce the money you can spend, but not like this.

Because the Switch still requires an original pair of joycon when you do the initial setup process after formatting the console.

It might not be a problem at first, but you let yourself open to the risk of being stuck in the initiating process.

You can just buy an entire console in 2nd-handed status instead

yes but that's sitll over my budget, as i can buy the tablet itself for 169 on amazon renewed, and i was thinking of getting a contrller thats 40 bucks total

i guess ill settle for the switch lite

is thre any way to ad d adock to the switch lite? as thats the main reason why i wanted the switch lmao but the lite is ok
