#Nintendo Online paid membership popup spam in offline game mode of Samurai Shodown

Hi, I just got Samurai Shodown today, and there's a very strange and annoying issue: I go to battle mode which states it's an offline mode, and then as soon as I select gauntlet, the 'paid membersip required' dialogue screen takes some time to load in. I then cancel out of it and it lets me progress. And then it also pops up again if I lose, and each time these events repeat. And I don't get it, it's an offline mode, it just adds to the loading times and is infuriating. Any idea what gives here? Even with flight mode on, it will show a prompt to turn it off - but at least that one doesn't take time to load and is easier to dismiss, still, this is a bad experience. Is there a way to fix this? Or do I need to reach out to the developer? Who can help with this? Edit: same when entering story mode.

Well, my best guess is that it's trying to upload some ghost data.. maybe? But still, any solution for this annoyance? At least in flight mode to not get the prompt. Do I have to reach out to the dev and ask them for support? Is there a better way to go about this? Somewhere to raise a support ticket? I'm assuming this is fixable. I'm not against NSO, just don't want to get it rn, since I'm new to switch and still investing in building a solid library atm.

There are other benefits of NSO, too.
Maybe you can enjoy them as well?

Thanks for all the replies. I will definitely get it at some point, just not right now. Still, isn't this something Nintendo could fix then? Like if I'm choosing not to subscribe, they should just have the option to maybe remember that and not spam me every time in an offline mode? I mean it lets me progress as expected, just don't want that dialogue popping up every time. Who do you think it's best to raise a ticket with? I want to at least have this acknowledged, because it really is spammy, and I don't appreciate it in an offline mode for a game I paid for.

Buying NSO is not a sollution here. The issue is when you don't have NSO, dialogue shouldn't spam you in offline modes - I think this is just common sense and pro consumer.

That's fine, I'll try anyway.
