Hi, I have a mixing experience when I bought dlcs cause when I bought dlc for pokemon sword and shield they worked even though my sword and shield games were european and the dlc were from american account but when I bought American dlc to my european Lego Marvel Super Heros 2 it didn't work so I learned that there are companies that allow cross-region dlc but there are some that don't so I would like to check if Capcom allow that so I can buy american DLC to my european monster hunter?

Someone asked that recently. Here's my response.
There's report about JP version DLC does not work with Eng cartridge.
Although if you want to try, I can give you some info to support that decision.
The EU and US version both are listed under AXSEB gameID
So they might have a single version for Western market, and another version for JP/KOR market.
A good way to check is their languages
EU and US version has EN, FR, DE, ES, IT, PT, JA, RU. Meaning they might be compatible.
But thats the thing there was one time when american dlc worked for me on european game and there was one time that it didn't... so idk what should I do...
It's just simply: Not all games are published using one single international version. Most of the time they have several regional versions, each with some differences such as languages, censorship,... - For these cases, they are treated as different games.
So there is no way of knowing which one is which?...
