Witcher 3 or NieR Automata?

Which one should I get and play first? They both seem right up my alley, so I'll probably end up playing both anyway. But given that BotW and Xenoblade are some of my favorite games, which one should I prioritize?

I can take a guess as to why, but any reasoning behind that recommendation?

I'd also recommend Nier as it is an amazing game with such a great story. I will admit that it won't last as long as The Witcher hours wise though. Nier is about 50 hours but it took me longer due to taking my time, and The Witcher is obviously the longer game. In my opinion though Nier has more engaging and original story, investable characters and great gameplay. It may seem strange at first but the more you play, the more it makes sense, if that makes sense 🤣 Plus Nier is having a great sale at the minute whereas The Witcher is always on sale so you could pick that up cheaper at a different time as you say you'll get both anyway. Ah your welcome @pliant canopy! I can never recommend this game enough so I had to post when I saw this thread 🤣. Really hope you enjoy the game though, your lucky you get to experience it for the first time. I've got a copy coming from amazon and managed to get it for £27, which is a great deal considering it's not been out on the switch long.

I am a platinum games junkie and I enjoy the overall storyline and characters. Took philosophy in college and enjoyed seeing some familiar names and concepts (no spoilers)

Have fun with nier automata! Definitely try out the side quests if you got time to spare. They’re very charming
