i log onto my switch and i see on my sisters account that there is a friend playing a game. so i look who it is and it’s my own account. they’re playing brilliant diamond, a game i haven’t played in months, i don’t even have it downloaded. is there any way i can stop this random person from playing my games? i changed my password but i’m not sure if that is the way to do it
#someone that i don’t know is using my account

also, i recommend that you enable two-factor authentication
The guy just loss login info for his account. I reckon it's much more important to secure his login info than just the Switch's account.
@swift acorn I suggest being very careful about this. You don't know how you lost your login info. The theft could have access to more than just your Nintendo account.
Normally, for this type of problem, I'd look into changing password to the Nintendo account as well as the email that was used to register it.
And in case you used the same email/password for other accounts, all of them are also compromised.
