Earlier today, for around 10-15 minutes my game card reader refused to accept Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. My Ultimate game card is from 2018, still looks and works completely fine. My Mario Kart game card is from December 2020. It accepted Legends Arceus, a game I got in June of 2022. I was wondering if this short-lived problem could be a sign of a major issue or it was just a small error that I shouldn't be worried about. This Switch is about 3 weeks old at this point and I keep it in an ivoler OLED Switch Traveling case and I really hope that case is good since I really don't want it to break my Switch. My friends have said that the case probably collected dust (which it did) and could've affected the game card that way, but I'd just want some insight from people who know more about this stuff. I do have an older switch model (launch switch) and I recently just upgraded for the bigger screen, better battery life, etc.

These kinds of small hiccups happen randomly. You need to see it appears several times or permanently to start thinking if it's an actual issue.
