Nah, just the dock
Have you tried another cable?
Have you enabled Pro controller wired mode in Settings?
@turbid heart @quasi sinew both options don’t work
I’d like to upgrade to a pro controller but no mone
Have you gone through the pairing process recommended in the manual?
It’s been a few years
It was working the day before I posted that so idfk
I see. It may have met its expiration date ._.'
:(
Test it on a different device
It can do that?
What games would it support, idk if gmod or tf2 will work with controller
It’s not an issue to me at all, I was just hoping for input to see if it could last a bit longer
You dont need to use a game
Steam supports PowerA controller, so what you need to do is plug it in, open Steam and check the general controller settings on Steam
have you tried using the other USB port on the dock? (grasping at straws here)
I did, not the one in the back however
have you tried using a different dock?
I do not have a different dock
do you have a friend who has a dock?
I’ve used the same switch and dock since it released
No.
@humble copper Do you happen to have a USB-C to USB-A cable, or something similar?
a USB-C hub for example
We just need a USB-C to USB-A interface so you can plug it directly into your Switch
I’ve tried a other cable but the weird thing is the plug into the controller is shaped different so only it’s original can fit inside
Yeah, unfortunately, it's like that. You can do something extra like modding the thing but it shouldn't need you to do that.
These manufacturer just lazily add a proprietary cable for no reason
