So i got my switch to play some Pokemon after about a month, and i saw that my switch had ran out of battery. I put it to charge but now when i try to start it, it just flashes the nintendo logo and then shows the console's charging symbol.

Do i need to wait some time so it charges or do i need to do something?
i've done the hard reset with holding the thing for 15 seconds and then turning it on but it doesn't work either

Your issue is simply because the battery's voltage was too low and need to be charged up. Although it's solved now, try not to make it go through that again. It may never start up again. Read below for some extra info.
