#Switch not turning on

How long ago was it at 12%?
About 1 hour ago, after just picking it up from the repair shop to get it’s screen repaired. When I went home and tried to turn it back on to play (about 45 minutes ago) it still wasn’t on.
I see, maybe it just need to be charged
Do this thing below
HOW TO RESET AC ADAPTER
If your console has issue with charging, no power or other power issue:
1. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall sockets and other devices.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug the AC adapter back into the wall socket then back to the device you want to charge.

then plug the AC adapter directly into the Switch, not through the dock
i don’t use a dock
Wait for a few mins for it get some power
Yes. Multiple times before I even made this post.
You reset it as well, eh? I didn't think it's a common knowledge.
it’s not a charging problem i’m sure of it
Alright, next, try this
METHOD TO FIX BOOT ISSUE
If you are experiencing boot issue, your Switch won't turn on, etc.. try this:
- Make sure the Switch is plugged in directly to the AC adapter.
- Hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- At exactly the 15th second, lift your finger briefly then press down once to turn the Switch on.
Also, is it the original AC adapter?
yes
I think you need to return it back to the repair shop then. I'm not sure why it's not even charged to full when they returned it to you.
bruh
At the very least, it should have enough power to boot
that’s more money i need to pay
No, that's their fault, you shouldn't have to pay for their mistake.
this has happened before and it turned on after 30 minutes of me waiting but never this long
it’s not their fault
But you sent it to them for a repair, no?
for a separate reason
So this issue has appeared before the screen repair and you didn't mention it to them?
It wasn’t that big of a problem then
Well, now it is.
You should have told them about it so they can diagnose while repairing the screen.
But now, you have to send it back again, otherwise we would have no idea what went wrong.
Maybe a charging circuit issue, maybe a power management chip being naughty, maybe the USB-C port, who knows?
Normally, even if you don't press the power button, when connected to power the Switch will automatically turn on
