Hello, I have a question about the language of the game. I have never had a nintendo switch before, I want to buy a game on amazon but I don't know if I will be able to change the language of the game. I live in Italy, the description of the product (the game) says that the language is Italian, but my main language is Spanish and I would like to be able to change the language to Spanish, should I buy the game through Amazon Spain and pay extra for shipping ? Or can I change the language? please help me. I have also considered buying the game through the eShop but I think it will be more expensive since it has a little discount on amazon
#will I be able to change the language of the game?

(sorry for my bad english if you don't understand something tell me so i can explain it again)
It's fine, I understand it perfectly.
Since you are new to the Switch, I'll try to explain a bit more than just your question.
Games on the Switch are either international type or regional type.
International type would mean there's only one version of the game, releases on all regions, and have all the languages include. All the save data and DLC are compatible with all copies, regardless of where you buy it from.
The regional type is more difficult. Each region will have a different version, with various different languages in them as well as some changes in content (censorship for example). And the DLC, save data is not compatible between each version.
When you want to buy a game, you should check in the game's box, or the online store listing, to see which languages that version has. You can do the same on the eShop by scrolling down on the game's eShop page.
To change languages, you can find the settings to change it in game, or you will have to change the Switch's regional settings (It's in System Settings ⚙️ > System > Region), then the game will follow.
Ohh I think I understand, the game I want to buy is pokemon sword, I guess it's an international game right? So can I change the language?
That one has several versions though
But if you see the languages include in there then you can change it
mhmm ok thanks for the help, ill try to ask ppl that have the game if they can change the language
Again, you can just check the languages on the store's listing page, or on the box of the game
You don't have to "ask other people"
In fact, let me help you with that, give me the link of the Amazon page you want to buy from, I'll show you.
