AS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly violating a protective order, jail and court records indicate.

Jones, 33, was listed as being taken into custody Friday on two counts of violating a temporary protective order related to domestic violence.

Las Vegas Justice Court records indicated he had posted bond, though he was still listed as in custody at Clark County Detention Center as of Friday morning. The next court hearing is scheduled for Dec. 4.

The pitcher in question is Kai-Wei Lin (who was in the dbacks system 2016-22). He was listed as responsible by Taiwan's baseball authority to participate in the country's national team, as he did not participate in the domestic league (CPBL) draft. Opting out of the responsibility list means the need to enroll in the Taiwanese military, as the country has conscription.

Lin was originally included in the roster for Taiwan's Asian Games team, but was hurt and put on the IL. The national team thus swapped him out for another player. He however came out of the IL before the national team departed for Asian Games matches, and came out pitching for his CPBL team the day right after Team Taiwan's departure.

Local fans are furious at him seemingly dodging the responsibility to play for the country, booing and heckling him every time he took the mound. The chant depicted in the video is telling to get drafted, this time by Taiwan's Army instead.
