okay so this season the Bruins had a Liverpool 19/20 esque season where they just... walked the Eastern Conference. granted they couldn't make it out of round 1 of the playoffs but still

now imagine if the Bruins had lost the regular Eastern Conference season to, idk looking for a scapegoat here, the New York Islanders two times... two of those times by a single point. and that forced them to get the second seed instead which means they had to play better teams then making them suffer more while the Islanders were financially doping 30m from some random "sponsor" in another country

unfortunately football is way too homophobic for its own good. both domestically and internationally (mostly religion based but alas)

Liverpool despite having a fan union of LGBTQIA+ supporters still have to make occasional announcements to stop chanting homophobic shit, although usually it's against one team and one team only (Chelsea, and it's a decades-old chant about one of their past owners and prostitution from what I understand)

but it's funny to see all of the religious fans get pissed off when Liverpool does a similar thing. also on a side note one of our middle Eastern players who practices Islam celebrates Christmas with his kids and it's oddly funny to see people react to that as well
