it's literally tragedy chanting over fucking Hillsborough/Heysel of all things, since a lot of the fucking fallout from Heysel (which was Liverpool fans' faults and essentially caused the entirety of England to be banned from Europe for five years because UEFA saw it as a bigger problem) impacted how these cunts saw Hillsborough

yeah long story short: English hooliganism during football was a massive problem in the 1980s but hadn't impacted the European competitions until the Heysel disaster, so guess what was made an example to the rest of England

and then Hillsborough happened not even 5 years later and the media/police just made a fucking awful mess out of Liverpool fans, the former of which included a tabloid owned by Rupert Murdoch claiming that Liverpool were "always the victims" and laying down awful things that were later confirmed false

which is what the Chelsea fans were fucking singing, hilariously enough I think almost every PL club has gotten away with singing this season, including the club on the other side of Hillsborough stadium when the disaster happened
