It's debatable. I place it in stage 1 so my stage 2 defences have less troops (mainly night witches) to deal with. Other players might place it in stage 2 since it's better at picking off low hp targets such as the ones weakened by stage 1

Yet placing it in stage 1 can make it harder for attackers to reach stage 2, resulting in less stars for the attacker

So ultimately it's up to you

I was thinking cannon cart at the bottom.

A pekka at the clock tower to funnel in towards the archer tower.

Then maybe a pekka or two at the gem mine opening to move into the core and then use ability.

Yes true, but i like the giant cannon a bit closer too the core too be able too make the core a bit more dangerous, also i havent pushed above 3,5k yet, cannon carts havent been used as much yet i will push higher up when ive maxxed most defenses. I will test placing it west later on if cannon carts are the weakness too this base

It is 5080 but i played like shit the next 4 games and time failed each one getting 6 starred in return, brutal. With this new layout I hit 5k kinda easily, tbf I'm surprised on how it's going so far considering that I'm not playing as well as I did before I changed layout.
