Roaster is a good defense, because it has splash damage and is both ground and air targeting. Its only downside is, that when it locks on ground target, it no longer damages air troops with the splash (same with locking onto air target)

Good defense is also giga tesla, for its chain attack and high damage, but it's downside is the slow attack speed

you'll hit a point where you can't reliably 6star with bbd's, it's just to supplement the strat with carts then, and archers etc to help the carts out

Ok! so let’s hop in.

you’re using 3 cannon carts which is kinda unnecessary. Not to mention, the way you use them is pretty unnecessary. You surround the base with them, and yea you’ll take one a key defense with 1 or 2, but overall, they don’t accomplish much. They clear outside buildings but they don’t funnel.

Look at replay #3 for this example. Up at the very top, there is a lowered archertower, airbomb, and roaster. These are three of the most scary defenses for baby dragons, and nothing protects them from cannon carts.

If you had brought 2 cannon carts, you could’ve taken it all out, and made a really nice funnel, with a troop space to spare (i’d bring barbs to test for cc personally)

Here’s my biggest bit of advice take your time.

I rebuilt the base an attacked it, i’ll share below — notice how A. I test for traps, B. I place the battle copter down in a place where he would charge up and be safe, and C. How I put my baby dragons down with purpose

The baby dragon from the right I put down after the lowered archer tower was taken out because the BC was tanking for the fire cracker, so it would be safe

the baby dragons from the left I placed down and immediately used their abilities — a lot of people want to try and swag their abilities, this isn’t very smart. It’s better to have more high HP troops with no abilities than it is to have fewer low HP troops with abilities. I put them where they would instantly take down air defenses, and as you saw they did exactly that

additionally, you don’t use your battle copter ability well. You often don’t use it really at all. You should use it in combination with baby dragons, 2 bbd ability + bc on most buildings will take it out. Maximize that value with the ability to do best.

TLDR: Use less cannon carts and target key air defenses with them, use your battle copter in places where it will charge its ability to level 3 and use his ability in combination with bbd abilities, and use your baby dragons with purpose — try and take down air targeting defenses as fast as possible so you take as little damage as possible

i understand that, that’s how I use to attack as well. The reason I dislike that strat is it’s just less consistent and can get trapped a lot.

The reason baby dragons are strong is that you have troops testing for your cannon carts so your carts can get infinite value

I’ve been practicing your “pekka bomb squad” army on this base but it didn’t work and I think it’s pretty hard..

I’ve switched the archers for baby dragons because of the guard post.
The clear mistake I made was ofc that the battle machine did go into the range of the double cannon…

matchmaking in bb has no factors beside trophy count, so being a lower builderhall is a gigantic disadvantage; and is a partreason you always should rush to bh9 (besides 6th builder)

the further you push in a low bh the harder it is for you to 6star, and easier it is for opponents to 6star just because of the bh level. Which results in you having to sit for 20 6star defenses until you get a single defense

& it isn't even that bad against carts comparing to other bh9 layouts. And you have to prioritize since not a single person most likely will cart you

Id say a small minority uses carts at the start of 5k, and it becomes more and more. Therefore its likely a layout that targets shimi & pekkas will work better lower down, and a hyper focused anti cart base works higher up

You'd need an entire pack of archers to take out the northern archertower, a bbd isn't enough to take out both the AT & DC, & even if you can take out LL with copter it'll die in that compartment

you can bastardize bh10 bases and have them at bh9, but in this case copter can take LL & DC

copter + one bbd is enough to funnel what you need for carts

most meta bh9 pushing bases doesn't even have longrange AT's

I played Builder Base (Level 5) battles and got all the 8 stars and the Win Loot Bonus. But just when the Loot Bonus pop-up notification appeared up on the screen, I tapped somewhere else by mistake and the pop-up disappeared. Now when I tap on Builder Hall Info, it shows up in the Builder Hall storages. How do I transfer that loot to my regular gold and elixir storages so that I can use them for upgrades? I don't even see any "Collect" button like you in the main village clan castle.

I'm new in this server, and I don't have 100 messages. If anyone's willing to help me out, will DM you the screenshots.

Baby dragons are pretty consistent if you plan to keep using the builder base. Pekkas and cannon carts are strong too
