I like the concept of it. Kinda like clash quest with the different stages. Planning ahead and being able to adjust your army. It just needed to be done better. They also need to add more content.

Would be cool if they added a “goblin map” for builder base kinda like clash quest. Numerous stages to get through. Maybe even daily challenges with additional unique defences. You get 1 shot at the daily challenge and the further you get through the better your rewards. Ore? Decos? Magic items? Even have a stage editor and have the community design the stages.

They need to tie ore into builder base somehow imo. More than just another star bonus.

The thing with 1 base is it felt like an off brand version of the home village. It needs its own identity and way of playing. The concept of planning ahead for the 2nd round is good, and getting momentum from the 1st stage into the second is rewarding.

It would be an interesting concept to have tournament sign-up for builder base.

Imagine something like a bracket tier tournament. You get placed with like 8 other people, and if you beat them you move on. If it’s a tie, you play them again on a new base you picked out but defences do +15% damage or something.

You get points based on placement and there is a separate leaderboard for tournaments. Make sign-ups based on builder-hall level so it's accessible by all. Lower townhalls get less points for winning. The better you do, the more rewards you get (maybe ore?) give people huge incentive to play. Would be interesting to have a solo competitive experience in clash.

Another idea to try to ward-off win trading would be to hide identifiers such as name and clan when attacking. Also to randomize decorations on the map so you can’t give codes to people via decoration placement lol.

Another idea I had was unlockable skins based off usage. Use battle copter to destroy 5,000 air defence for a special skin. Idk stuff like that. Anything to get engagement and give people goals to grind for.

I think the main takeaway or quality of life right now would be to hide identifiers in matches. That’s doable.

since you have those specific defenses confined to second it's not much you can do

meaning it really isn't a concern when you think about it, and making the base more spread out spreads out the dps, meaning that it's worse in that way too

you can think of it differently, but bh9 is often purposebuilt against some specific strategies since playing at lower builderhalls than max just isn't ideal
