Update has only been out for a day so hard to say, but pekka + 1 cart has served me well. Steamrolls (4-5 stars consistently) through 4000-4500 and does quite well in low 5000s

I just took a base from this server and even the best attackers are getting 4 stars (with the average being 2-3) so I'm netting positive.

its just janky. you can grind all day long no problem, but you will have to be a bit patient between attacks

also, if you find yourself sat in clouds, just leave. you wont ever find a match as the game doesnt update your priority when searching

you'll usually find yourself being attacked after you cancel search, thats when your priority goes up. if you search again is an instant match

at least this is what ive seen after i started trying to figure it out like 5-6 attacks ago

and spread around shooting for 50%

drop copter in an area without air defenses to add to the percent

best counter is to put your otto in the center and surround by arcchers, which cant be sniped

then people cant 4+ star you

meta has you put biggest strongest buildings in stage 1

so they cant reach your stage 2

then you focus like crazy on reaching their stage 2

the reward difference is huge between the two stages

so you quickly rise in trophies if you consistently reach and snipe stage 2

ive done about 200 attacks so far

The thing with the giants is they make the pekkas more likely to survive into stage 2. Stage 2 is small enough that if you can make it into it with multiple pekkas still up you can guarantee a 5-6 star by using a reinforcement giant, dropping it in and using the ability while the pekkas destroy the rest of the base

The good thing about that is it doesn't matter how much hp the pekkas live with

By the time the giant goes down you'll have BM charge at level 2, usually 3 by the time it needs to use it

How are you guys managing both gold and elixir in builder base. I am at hall 4 and quite struggling with gold. Elixir is easy to get with good defense, but attacks have become very tough after reduced number of troops in each camp and resource generation is already quite slow as comapred to main town hall. Any suggestions ?

Also getting opponents has become a long process after new version. Now sometimes have to wait for almost 25 to 30 seconds to get opponent village in builder base.

I went to 1k trophies for the gems and now I'm gonna drop because I'm facing a ton of BH4 & BH5 on defense

I might drop to around 600 so that I'm still getting 20k per attack/defense

the main issue is getting gold but you can just rush to getting the next army camp asap
