First of all, put defenses in the center instead of the storages, second don't waste your bombs in corners unless it's a popular night witch corner, and third the wall layout could be much better

I was just reading that in an old Reddit guide. (That still seems apt today). Maybe my trophies will pop up a bit! Now I still have cannons (all8) double cannons, crushers fire crackers, guard post (all lvl7) and lava launcher (5) to upgrade. Yikes!

About spectating in real time vs. spam being encouraged: I always thought that the complaints worked against each other. People complained about waiting for the people who didn't SPAM. But complained about feeling attacks were necessarily spammy. But- whatever- it looks like vs. and therefore probably spectating will end.

I think the push for the 6th builder made rushing almost a must- and that is why the game is more fun at first... then becomes a grind...then starts to get more fun again as it becomes less rushed. Rushing makes it suck in the middle. And (I'm not there yet but) I imagine finally getting maxed out and climbing trophies would again get boring when you have climbed to your top, and there is no new content.

Supercell kinda said as much in their Reddit AMA- that they are looking at making the requirements for unlocking OTTO more general- which sounds to me like bh 6 might find more bh 6 to battle with- even if it's still pure trophy match

I interpret their statements to mean rushing will not be as rewarded- as one part of an effort to make the game more fun to play at all stages. It is more fun when it is more balance base v. base. The bases are naturally more similar in the beginning and the near max 9 stages of the game with the current system. One of several ways they may address this is slowing rushing.

yeah thats what I meant also its good when strats progress/develop at every bh/th like in hv lalo starts at th9 and then keeps progressing/developing at every th but the basics remain same which is not the case for bbase currently coz players just rush and spam carts and then all of a sudden start doing strats which are fully developed

as I understand it, it's not rushing per say they don't want, it's going for some very specific tasks a LOT more than the rest of the base

i.e. : having everyone max carts first, have a MT maxed and mortar 8 when the rest of the defenses are lvl 3 etc

rushing will likely remain a very good (if not the top) strat, as having one troop (but now you'd have the choice of which one) maxed is way stronger than 2 or 3 troops at lower lvl, unlocking more army camps and troop lvl and new stronger troops is very powerful, unlocking more collectors and at higher lvl means more passive loot (might not be as impactful if loot isn't limited per day, but still), adding a new defense is a lot more effective than adding a few levels to cannons and stuff.

They did use the words "specific" [tasks] (old bh) and "more general" [tasks] (new bh). I inferred it to discourage rushing. I also imagine matchmaking might change somewhat with the end of p v. P, but it was just my inference. Could be wrong, of course.

yes, every player can have their choice, but it's a strategy game, not only in offense and defense, but also in what to upgrade. Some build orders are a LOT worse than others. You can take any, but it's called bad strategy to take a bad one, the same way than attacking with 5 e drags 6 pekka is a bad strategy, you can do it, but you can't cry for having bad results with it

all your attacks go to your clan, if you do 7 triples, that's +7 for your clan compared to an usual 2 star rate, but on defense, every clan gets +1 on you compared to an usual 2 star rate, so the 7 defenses are scattered among the other clans. Assuming all clans 8 clans always do 2 stars except on you, clans will end up as (not counting the +10 from wins):

clans dont take max th11 in cr1 coz of th15 even tho I player M3 as th11 a few months ago but most clans wont allow this and I can easily play cr1 as a rushed th12 on my alt so you can see the difference

or you can simply not care too much about war, first because it only gives a bit more loot, which takes 2 attacks to get with sneaky gobs, and then because you'll probably have your heroes down upgrading most of the time. But yes, you shouldn't play regular wars competitively with your highest base in war being very rushed, but that's quite rare to happen honestly, you just need to find 1 player stronger than your rushed base, and if there isn't, you probably could find a better clan. Or you can as well not play wars competitively, the matchmaking gives you easier opponents as you keep losing, so you'll end up facing trash clans and still winning some sometimes

Scrap the first one. Second one just needs a few adjustments in order to be decent. Queen should not be able to shoot inferno towers from outside walls. Move them further into the base. Queen should not be able to hit two rows of buildings from outside the walls. Gives too much AQ walk value. Fix by having one empty row between the 3x3 buildings right inside your walls and the buildings behind them

pretty common for mid 5k in my experience

usually some deep air mega bombs on the 11 oclock

sometimes a troll tesla there as well

Does it work on that specific configuration of defenses only cause I seem to never be able to get the bh on similar designs

you need to have the LL not hit your carts in gibart attacks and using bm on that area is a efficient way of doing that as bm is under less damage so can tank LL for a long time and also destroy some buildings there tho the base is not good anyways so gibart destroys from the other side like easy wall breaks all the dps right infront with no ground mines so even swarming barbs get a lot of value

Even if the LL doesn’t hit the carts they die before reaching the bh

you can see 2 dc and 2 cannons all in same place you can see how much barb value there is

tho you can defeat that base with a lot of other armies too

also see how easy wall breaks are

you deploy them on trash buildings directly and get the walls along with the buildings

and it also open completely from 3-6 easily without even wasting any barbs to distract
