Once you go to th11 you'll have 4 heros and only 3 spots so you always have one cooking and during wars just start a second hero as soon as you take your two hits.

At lower levels the heros are only a day or 2 and with war being a day and between searching and prep day it ends up being 2 days

So you'll cook them fast

That just depenss on how you wanna play. But if you are going to rush. Max your main army and every offensive thing before moving up to the next th except heroes. You take longer to max heroes than the th itself
