You forget that at TH11–TH13 there are many people who will just blindly drop lightning spells and dragons (or their electro variants) and call it a day. You just need to defend against the majority of attacks, not against intelligent attackers who would three-star TH13s anyway

You split the base bewteen the 2

The first step for bases is ser up where you want the main defenses and then the next in hierarchy like infernos xbows heroes air defenses archer towers cannons mortars bomb towers

Then traps

And walls before traps
