The stars are the biggest issue because if you don't really spend any money it's like 1 max upgrade per month or two

I know they are generally less value but depends on the army, I use an rc charge with root riders a lot since th15 so it uses the life tome which is insane compared to the heal spell, poor thing got hit by power creep like crazy

As for the life gem I know it is used a lot recently with the thrower spam army on high THs

And in some niche armies

Having the option open is always nice regardless

Plus before the rank update I was maximizing ores as much as possible in fake legends so I didn't mind

Took me a while to get back into a league that gives equal or better gain

I need some advice as a returning player. I stopped playing long before equipments were a thing. Now since I am back I'm basically broke in terms of equipments. I had some gems saved which I used on helpers, i have got like 2k left now. I was wondering would be best to use them to get spiky ball instead of further upgrading the builder apprentice.

Also since I took event pass, I got 2 epic and 1 i got earlier, and since I am extremely low on ores, it's not like I'm gonna upgrade them all to sufficiently good levels anytime soon. Hence I am apprehensive about getting another one since farming ores is extremely painful.

Another thing, I had some cwl medals saved from before (i think ~500), should I keep saving them to get the epics from cwl shop (i think theres frozen arrow and gauntlet there) or use them for potions to further my progress?.
