Royal champ - Rocket Spear +Eboots or seeking shield if you just want extra instant damage

You don't need extra steps like iceblock, drags aren't that fragile, the only real use case and by real I mean something which is applicable for most people is freezing the warden in place and having a good fireball or with RC charges if you are charging a invis core base.
