Any restaurants you find that are on the edge of town are generally not as good as the ones that are inside of town a little bit further.

STEP TWO: the salsa has to be spicy, and I'm talking like the kind of spicy that you're comfortable with but not comfortable with at the same time, if the salsa is not that spicy, then nine times out of 10 that restaurant is NO GOOD. The chips however, can vary, most of the time they're generously salted, but not to a point to where you're not going to hate it. However, if the chips are hard as a rock, then I think you can understand that restaurant is not good. But if those two factors are what they should be, you're going to be eating better than CaseOh.

STEP THREE: THIS ONE IS BIG! The restaurant MUST have a POS system where you pay at the counter, additionally they have candy that they sell on the counter, could be American, could be Mexican, could be both. If it's not, THE RESTAURANT IS NO GOOD. I mean it!

STEP FOUR: The restaurant has to be playing Spanish music, and another factor that helps is that the TVs are either set to news such as Fox, soccer, boxing (sometimes canelo Alvarez, sometimes not), or they have it on something that the kids might be watching at a table that's not occupied. This one isn't huge but if they're playing anything but what's listed here, nine times out of 10 THE RESTAURANT IS NO GOOD. So make sure they do before you order!

STEP FIVE: BLUE COLLAR WORKERS AND MEXICANS EAT THERE! This is like the most important step ever, if you see blue collar workers or Mexicans eating there, you already know it's about to go down! Chinese restaurants are a little bit different on this end, as that doesn't really matter as much, but here it does.

STEP 6IX: THE EMPLOYEES MUST BE LATIN / MEXICAN / SPANISH! And yes I mean every employee, ESPECIALLY the kitchen crew. Now it doesn't matter who it is, if it's not somebody of those three that are listed above, YOUR RESTAURANT IS NO GOOD. Now if it's the host, then that's acceptable, but if the waiters / waitresses, Cooks, and other stuff aren't those three above, I don't think I want to eat there. And I don't think you should either. But if they are, you're going to be eating really good.

STEP SEVEN: if it's a chain restaurant, I wouldn't recommend it, unless it's Chili's, it's fake Mexican but I don't care it's pretty good. Chuy's is also pretty good, other than that I don't recommend others.

STEP EIGHT: FOOD TRUCK! Trust me when I say this if it's a food truck, ORDER THERE. I have never personally had a bad experience with a Mexican food truck before, the food is always good no matter who cooks it, and it's always fast, it's a bonus if the people running it are Mexican but that's not necessarily a big requirement.

STEP 9INE: if they serve beverages such as horchata and JARRITOS then you're going to be eating really good Mexican, if they serve one or the other that's okay too, if they serve neither then your restaurant IS NO GOOD.

STEP TEN: if it's a mom and pop place, you're going to be eating really good, this isn't the largest factor to consider, but it's a modest one. Modest is honest!

HOW TO FIND THE BEST CHINESE FOOD

Step one: find one that is in a strip mall, a plaza or a regular shopping mall, the best Chinese restaurants are the ones where they don't own the building. I speak from personal experience on this, it is much better if it's that way, I'm not attempting to be prejudice.

Step two: make sure that the name of the restaurant is something that nobody can figure out, or maybe it has just a generic name that seems good enough

Step three: make sure they have that menu of 12 options that NOBODY orders from, they just get a custom order

Step four: this is the most important step, you know you're going to eat some absolutely crazily amazing Chinese when the children are doing something that either involves School or something that they normally would do on their off time. Generally where I go they used to play Pokemon a lot, now they study for college, one kid is an engineer I believe.

Step 5: this step is optional, and it doesn't really change the quality of the food so much but if there is a buffet, then basically you can get as much as you want, and that makes it all better, but I believe the quality of the food is slightly worse than just getting one at a place where there is no buffet but there is a custom order option.

With an additional note, the reason I created this guide is because if you read the reviews of certain restaurants on web browsers like Google and Safari, 99% of the time it's a bunch of white women who cook the most bland and unseasoned food on planet Earth.
Same thing goes for Yelp reviewers except they yap till the sun goes down.

In conclusion I would like to say that this guide has been supported by my own personal testimony as a blue collar worker, and additional personal testimonies from many, especially those of Asian descent, which have confirmed that this guide is correct and factual.
