In FNAF 2, You play as a security guard just like FNAF 1. Only difference is there's a few changes. The introduction to the withered animatronics, the toy animatronics, Ballon boy, the puppet/music box, doors are no longer present but instead replaced with vents, an animatronic mask you can pull over yourself to save yourself from certain animatronics and a battery that won't end the night once you reach 0. Balloon boy just pops up randomly and disables flashlight using and other stuff, he's just annoying and serves no real purpose. The puppet animatronic requires you to continuously crank the music box which has a duration time but once it runs out, you lose the night. The puppet animatronic was originally made by Henry Emily in order to protect his daughter, Charlotte Emily. One night Charlotte was locked out of the pizzeria and is killed by William Afton. The puppet was locked away at the time and arrived too late to save Charlotte.
