#Big Character Pool but stuck on plat

I’m not perfect, but I’ve spent a lot of time learning many characters instead of just one, which means I’m solid on a wide range even if I haven’t mastered every detail. I mostly play support and tank, with some DPS mixed in.

My main is Venom, who I’d say is the one I played the most. For DPS, I’m best with Mr. Fantastic and lately bucky and MK, and when it comes to strategists, I am quite good with Loki, Luna, and Jeff.

I’m comfortable on a big pool of characters such as Venom, Loki, Jeff, Bucky, Moon Knight, Strange, Thing, Magneto, Mantis, Luna, CD, Spiderman, Mr. Fantastic, and Adam and I’m always willing to pick up more to fit what the team needs.

As DPS, I rarely go negative, though I sometimes feel held back by teammates in that role.
(P.S: With Spiderman, I have weaknesses but I can stay positive and get most final hits every game).

Do I deserve to be stuck at Plat/Diamond?

I notice some of ur characters have less than 50% win rate however ur venom wipes them out, u have a pretty solid venom and I recommend sticking with him

One thing I’ve learned is that leaderboards don’t show the whole story so maybe ur less than 50% win rate Jeff actually carries but it comes down to decision making at that point and I’m not saying every game is winnable but a lot of ur matches will come down to decision making and ult usage

For example, we were getting steamrolled by a Peni and Emma the chances of us winning were not at all in eight surrender felt better but we played it anyways, the only reason we won that game is because one of my dps switched to rocket one fight earlier giving us a 3rd support ult and we got a strange portal after losing the fight we thought was the end

Looking by the leaderboard you would’ve thought the enemy should’ve won but decision making isn’t shown and is one of the most important steps in ranking up

Oh I really appreciate you reply, yes my winrate is below 50 on many characters but I'd genuinely blame that on me switching characters when im losing
Also worthy to note that I play quick play much more than ranked which might be another reason and yeah sure I would be down to have the vod (hoping to not burn your eyes while u are celestial 😭 )
I love venom but sometimes I just get bored of him because it's basically the same stuff I have been doing

And concerning the leaderboard, well here you go these were 2 consecutive games today with jeff only T-T
My ults with jeff are not the best tbh but I feel I can keep most of the team alive with jeff and sometimes I prefer a jeff over a defensive ult cz of how easy yet useful jeff is with high survivability and now with his healing circle, its even more interesting cz even if i miss my ult, i can heal people

Okay the quick play part makes a lot more sense and is definitely more reasonable and less arguable! I can totally relate with the character burnout lol my character pool went from like 3 to 10 within a whole season and a half I think it toally makes the game a whole lot more enjoyable. Knowing you play more quick play gives a different insight on your W/L on characters as I use qp to learn new characters lol

I know a lot of people however do not take qp to seriously so your losses probably are from ranked experts just wanting to mess around in qp

Yep cz when i ask people to change they say it's just qp
Like I want a gamemode where I don't need to sacrifice my grandpa's bum hair to win yet has players that wanna try to win
Especially that I have friends across console, from which and I can't play ranked with them
So I start tryharding while someone is touching spiderman for the first time and imma be fair
Even if it's qp you aren't learning much from going 1 12
Even when I played spidey for the first time I got like a reasonable kda 😭

So like I want the person who goes 2 12 to simply change and try learning the character in other game
But ig I understand there is no other place to learn the character properly
It's a dilemna
