I'm painting my first minis and I know the scheme I'm looking for but I'm having trouble finding the right paint
I want a black purple gold scheme for the necrons but the grey is too light and the death metal has a green tint to it. Currently I'm trying gunmetal but I still think it's too bright. Can anybody help me find something good?

You can always mix a bit of regular acrylic into your metallics to darken them.
So if your gunmetal is too bright, mix a little black into it.
It will also reduce the sheen of the metallic so you may want to bring a bit of that back in select areas to pick out details and/or highlight.
