A Zorn pallette is of limited color choices - you are limited to a single yellow, a single red, a white, and a black.

No more.
No less.
The number of colors the painting shall be Four.
Blue is right out!

Once Zorn, being the four colors be reached, then you shall paint a mini to completion and, being awesome in our sight.. shall gain points.

STANDARD HOUSEKEEPING RULES :

You may prep your mini, this includes, gap fill, assemble, purchase and prime ahead of time. Paint should only be applied during the time-frame of the PAL.

Anyone can join in on the fun. Just share your mini first and paint within the time frame. Request your points in the point request channel by following the pinned post on how to ask for points.

You can't submit the same mini for multiple PALs or other multiple events. And units minis can't be split among the different PALS if they are identical .

Have fun and be nice to each other. Share some wips and some laughs.

Yes, I am a nerd, and yes I am a little bored. Have fun! I may find myself doing this one as well. I like a challenge

Oh nice to see this was arranged. I am going to take part in it.

Ooooh I visited a friend recently who was using a Xorn palette, I am intrigued so will likely put paint to model for this one.

This is the one I did last time, I need to find another cool model for this year's challenge

jade helm

Will these 4 paints work?

I just wanted to make sure it fit within rules of the color palette.

My personal opinion is it's close enough. Not sure what others think.

warped pike
#

It's OK to use as a Zorn palette, no worries.

Of course

I have these paints that match the palette. Does anyone have any particular suggestions for which brands/shades are better or worse for something like this?

no clue

So what I’d aim for is if you add white to any of these colours, it doesn’t turn a grey-ish version of itself (except black). Orange-red is probably your best bet for the red, since I know that one acts predictably and the OG palette has cad red which is the brightest red you can get.

#

No idea on the ochres though, since I don’t own any of those.

My entry for this. First model in 75mm scale as well.

I still need to pick a mini for this one. Will try to find something smaller, so if it's a disaster I do not spend forever working on it and hating it

feral mesa

bump, this one starts Sunday

jade helm

This will work? I'm a little nervous about the eyeballs as they are empty spaces on the model. On the package art, there are full eyeballs so I'm confused.

Weird. I wonder if thats on purpose or if its a misprint of some kind

Here's a wip

You say "finally" done when I've yet to pick a mini 🤣

XD

#

Usually I don't paint a single mini for more than 2 hours because I get bored fast

This seems like a fun challenge.
I think I'd like to join with these colors and this model:
